Description

XtraBond™450 is a one component, non sag, permanently flexible neutral cure silicone sealant. Manufactured for excellent adhesion to vinyl, glass, aluminum, wood, sheet metal and most common building materials without the need of a primer. XtraBond™ 450 cures rapidly when exposed to atmospheric moisture to form a durable tight bond.

SURFACE PREPERATIONS

The substrate must be clean, dry, frost free, sound and free of any oils, greases or incompatible sealers, paints or coatings that may interfere with adhesion. Do not apply if surface is damp or contaminated. It is recommended to test all substrates prior to applications.

HOW TO USE:

For Best Results, ensure surface is clean, dry and free of oil or grease. Cut nozzle to desired bead size and puncture inner seal. Apply with a caulking gun forcing sealant onto the substrate, then tool if needed. Sealant will gain a skin in 10 minutes and exhibit full cure within 24 hours. Can be applied in warm or cold conditions. Clean excess material with mineral spirits or similar solvent. It is the user's responsibility to thoroughly test any proposed uses with any and/or all substrates.
