XtraFlash Modified Butyl Based Membrane is an aggressive self-adhesive & selfsealing waterproof flashing membrane that adheres to plywood, OSB, masonry, aluminum, vinyl, steel, drywall, and housewrap. The membrane is based on our proven water and moisture vapor barrier technology.

INSTALLATION TEMP. RANGE:

XtraFlash Modified Butyl Based Membrane is intended for use in high-temperature areas, such as the desert southwest areas of the U.S., although it provides excellent weather protection and can be installed in all areas of the U.S. This product can sustain a wide range of service temperatures ranging from as low as 0 degrees to as high as 240 deg F.

COMPATIBILITY:

XtraFlash has been tested with all the Xtrabond Sealants and is deemed compatible. If this product is used in close proximity with any other sealants or adhesive, a compatibility test is strongly suggested by the professional prior to application and use.

BENEFITS AND INTENDED USE:

XtraFlash Modified Butyl Base Membrane seals around nails and other mechanical fasteners, and is impermeable to water, air and moisture vapor. It can be used to flash around windows and doors, and to seal joints, the area around vents, and other openings under most exterior surfaces including brick, stucco and wood, vinyl and metal siding.
